A LifeTime ☘

It may only last for five minutes to you
but it may last a lifetime for your kind. You had
better make those precious moments into a story as a
defining moment, she tells her kids and grandchildren.
Like that, those five shitty minutes last not only a lifetime
but transcends into three whole generations. I am, hereby,
yet politely but firmly asking you to make those five minutes
of
your life worthwhile. Put the phone away. Leave your worldly
worries to the side for a while (you know that you can always
pick them later. They are not going anywhere soon.) Are you
* hungry? Do you need to pee? Go and pee. Are you thirsty? *
Have a glass of water before you begin. Are you stressed? Ex-
hale. Inhale. Breath in. Breath out. Meditate a micro second *
or as long as ten minutes. Breath down into your pelvis. Put
on all your senses and direct them to your kids. Let go of
any sort of intention. Intentions are energy. Direct all
your energy towards your kid and watch her
flourish and rise from the ashes.
*
Why?
*
Because she knows when you are
fully attentive or not. When not, she has to fight
for it. When yes, she is fully relaxed which also means
that
is true to the core of who she is and it is in this interaction
magic happens. You are in the zone and nothing else matters.
You only have eyes for each other & each other’s energy fields.
You learn from each other and the distinction between mother
and daughter vanishes. Left is two pure souls interacting and *
* being in love with each other. You all know what I am talking
about. Those moments are pure magic and pure gold. We have
all experienced them and we know exactly when and when this
moment occurred. Make those moments your blessings a part
of your daily life. I am not saying that you should do it as your
sole mission on a daily basis but do make room in your
life to make these blessings come alive.

What I am saying is to change
your priorities and the most efficient way
to do this is to start by putting the phone away and
then I mean BOTH your private AND your work phone away.
Put them all away, every digital device there is in your house.
Set on aeroplane mode. And if you are brave enough you might
even stretch as far as turning your phones off. To dare to miss
out on possibly important happenings on Facebook,
Instagram, LinkedIn, Twitter and wherever
you are accountable for.
