Eva Loubani is not only beautiful but also smart & witty. She was one of the speakers 🔊 at the event held by empowHER. on women’s international day togehter with the co-founders.
Since I pulled all my strength just by taking myself to this event, I was too overwhelmed by introducing myself to her. Luckily, I ran into both Christina Wallin & Isabel Zavalía Wästlund, working as a Fund Raiser at Malmö universitet me ending up having a really good time. We were 250 women in the same room. It was magnetic. Mind-blowing & powerful.

Being a part of She told me a story for almost two years now, I am WELL familiar with the ups & downs being a Malmö citizen not originated from Sweden, educated, competent female peers still not being able to enter labour market.

Victoria Sandberg confirmed the necessity of communicating in English. She has been living in Sweden for ten years now. She never heard of empowHER. I wonder why that is. I also told her about other female communities.

Victoria’s vision is for Malmö to be the leading innovation hub by 2030. This has also become mine. Mind my business. If you don’t mind but mind the matter of the unmatter.

But who we are matters more.”

Mind matter. Mind chatter. Shatter the illusion of the impossible.
CEOs of Minc Daniel Persson & previously CEO of Minc Jeanette Andersson have both been very encouraging towards me when reaching out to them. Daniel has urged me to keep being brave & keep daring. Jeanette has been a trooper in taking her time to respond with an encouraging message. Small acts of kindness has ripple effects no one could anticipate. Their messages were clear;
Keep daring.
Keep caring.
Keep moving.
Keep beleiving.

Emma Philipson teacher at Malmö folkhögskola also encourages me.
I have a female boss, Ingrid Bengtsson-Rijavec at work in where I landed my dream job, to work towards the international students. She has shown me that it is okay for me to be exactly who I am. She has a unique quality to see potential in everyone she meets. She has, also, kindly but most deliberately told me to lower my expectations on myself, that good enough is more than enough when I started my position.
BID Malmö is another great example of cooperation together with Wihlborgs Fastigheter CEO celebrated at Malmö Näringslivsgala Ulrika Hallengren.

Katrin Stjernfeldt Jammeh s quote says it all.
“In Malmö, we’re impatient – because we know opportunities are out there.”
Lastly, I would like to quote Eva Loubani :
& honestly… I see it everywhere. The drive, the ambition, the let’s-make-things-happen attitude. Well, I might just recognize a bit of that attitude in myself too 😅.
