☘ Gentle With Your Words

I am asking you to be gentle

with your words. I am asking you to

* choose your words carefully and delicately *

before you utter them in the first place. I am asking *

you to think things through before you splash them into

thin air. I am urging you to be humble in how you say them

(your words). I am telling you to be firm and always kind when

* you say them (your words). And be sure to make sure in what *

* mood you say them (your words). (Your) words can be as sharp *

as cutty & edgy knives. They can be cut-throat & as hard as

weapons once they are utterly and desperately uttered

in full blown wretchedness and despiteness.

* Even if words may not literally kill you, *

* they may extinguish that little flame inside of you. *

That last flame you, perhaps, possessed to make it through *

the day. That tiny tiny spark that made you get up this morning

even though every fiber in your body kept telling you to stay in

bed all day wanting nothing than pull your cover over your

* head. Your mind telling you that it is better to stay *

* in bed and sleep all day. Words can never be *

* erased like a tattoo can never be wiped *

* away with soap and foam. *

* Once imprinted in *

* your soul, they will stay *

there for all eternity. This indicates

that they will pass on to the next em-

* bodied human generation and so it

goes on and on. They may come back

right at you when you least expect it.

* I am therefore, once again, *

gently, humbly but firmly asking

you to be careful with your words

* before you speak your mind or *

voice your opinion to someone

else. That is all I am asking for.
